Welcome! I am a scientist interested in biology, ecological physiology, mammals and climate change. This site highlights my research projects, education and outreach activities.
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher and instructor at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City (pictured above from Bell's Canyon). During my PhD, I studied the effects of ambient temperature on the ability of mammalian herbivores to handle natural toxins in their diets.
My other interests include playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, mammal watching, rock climbing, reading books on the beach and enjoying good food & drinks with friends.
